IES Diego de Siloé is a public high school which
covers all secondary courses and some vocational training courses. There are
about 700 students and 70 teachers in our high school. Students are usually
12-18 in secondary courses and 16-22 in vocational training courses.
Our school organises different activities in order
to broaden our students’ minds and get them ready for nowadays society.
Important activities along the school year are the
students exchange with a high school in France and a linguistic and cultural
immersion course in Ireland, but also the participation in different programmes
and plans such as Innicia which aims to promote
entrepreneurship in the personal, social and productive dimensions in
educational centres. The main aim is to promote creative thinking and knowledge
and entrepreneurial initiatives throughout the educational community.
